Ormo History
Robert Wilson learned the trade of bread making from his elder brother John, and together with brother Samuel, they set up business together in Belfast, Northern Ireland as Wilson and Strain. Robert, determined to carry on the great family tradition of baking set up a Bakery of his own which he called ‘Ormeau Bakery’ in 1875. The passion and enthusiasm for producing the highest quality product remains today, with Ormo products remaining a firm favourite in Northern Ireland.
