Instant Ormo Apple Tart
You will need
Ormo rich fruit loaf (8)
3 red skinned desert apples
Unsalted butter (quarter of packet)
Ground cinnamon (1-2 tsp)
Light muscovado sugar (4 tsp)
vanilla pod (2 cut in half and split lengthways)
How to make it
Heat the oven to 200degrees celsius/gas 6
Core and quarter the apples and slice thinly
Generously butter one side of each slice of bread and place on a baking sheet
Arrange the apple slices on top of each slice. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and dot with the remaining butter
Top with the vanilla pods
Bake for 6 minutes until the apples are just cooked and the bread is toasted
Serve with icecream, cream or custard
