Ormo ‘french toast’ Brack
Ormo ‘french toast’ Brack with apple topper
You will need
- 1 Ormo Barmbrack
- Milk (a splash!)
- 2 free range eggs
- Butter for frying
- 2 eating apples
- Brown sugar
How to make it
- Slice the Ormo Barmbrack
- Slice the apple and fry gently in a pan with melted butter until golden
- Sprinkle the apple in the pan with brown sugar and cook further until caramelised. Remove from the pan and keep warm
- Beat the eggs with a splash of milk
- Dip slices of Ormo Barmbrack in the eggy mixture until soaked
- Fry the Brack in butter until golden
- Top with the apples and serve warm
