Ormo ‘french toast’ Brack


Ormo ‘french toast’ Brack with apple topper

You will need

  • 1 Ormo Barmbrack
  • Milk (a splash!)
  • 2 free range eggs
  • Butter for frying
  • 2 eating apples
  • Brown sugar

How to make it

  1. Slice the Ormo Barmbrack
  2. Slice the apple and fry gently in a pan with melted butter until golden
  3. Sprinkle the apple in the pan with brown sugar and cook further until caramelised. Remove from the pan and keep warm
  4. Beat the eggs with a splash of milk
  5. Dip slices of Ormo Barmbrack in the eggy mixture until soaked
  6. Fry the Brack in butter until golden
  7. Top with the apples and serve warm
